OH. MY. GODS. Is In The System!

It's official. My book is really for sale. In a few short months it's going to be in bookstores everywhere--on hopefully on many bookshelves. So maybe you're thinking, "Duh. You sold your book like a year and a half ago, Tera. It's taken you this long to figure that out?" Yes, I knew that... but now it's really, truly official... because now OH. MY. GODS. is in the system at Borders and Amazon and Books-a-Million!

What does this mean? This means that people all over the world could order it right now. As in today. As in my parents already did. (No, you won't get your copy any earlier than the official release date... but you can stop worrying about getting your copy as soon as it comes out!)

Inaugural Post

This is the first of what I hope will be many, many posts.

For those who don't know me (yet) my name is Tera and I'm a writer. A real writer. I can say that now because last July I sold my first book. Growing Up Godly will be released in hardcover from Dutton Children's Books in Summer 2008. That's a long, long wait. So, while I'm trying not to go crazy waiting and wishing I could make the whole publishing industry move at lightning speed, I thought I'd drop some of my musings in this blog. For the whole world to see. (Terrifying!)

I'm also dropping my musings over at Books, Boys, Buzz... (a group blog with seven of my fellow YA authors). And, piece by piece, I'm working on my website and hope it'll be complete and live in a month or two.

So, if you want to watch me lose my mind (patience is not one of my strong suits) then this is the place to be.
