Imagine the first person who slid back down that course after the accident. Think about the amount of courage, determination, and faith in their abilities as an athlete it required to make that run. I am seriously in awe.
Today's bonus prize comes from an about-to-be-released author with magic in her words. HEX HALL by Rachel Hawkins. Here is the blurb:
Three years ago, Sophie Mercer discovered that she was a witch. It's gotten her into a few scrapes. Her non-gifted mother has been as supportive as possible, consulting Sophie's estranged father-an elusive European warlock-only when necessary. But when Sophie attracts too much human attention for a prom-night spell gone horribly wrong, it's her dad who decides her punishment: exile to Hex Hall, an isolated reform school for wayward Prodigium, a.k.a. witches, faeries, and shapeshifters.
By the end of her first day among fellow freak-teens, Sophie has quite a scorecard: three powerful enemies who look like supermodels, a futile crush on a gorgeous warlock, a creepy tagalong ghost, and a new roommate who happens to be the most hated person and only vampire on campus. Worse, Sophie soon learns that a mysterious predator has been attacking students, and her only friend is the number-one suspect.
As a series of blood-curdling mysteries starts to converge, Sophie prepares for the biggest threat of all: an ancient secret society determined to destroy all Prodigium, especially her.
But wait, there's more. Lady Hawkins herself is also including an awesome Hexy Tee in her giveaway! A bonus bonus prize.
To enter today's contest, tell me one crazy thing you would do if knew you wouldn't get hurt. White water rafting or ziplining.
Skydiving. The fear is worse than the rush, though I suppose the rush is because of the fear. :/
What one crazy thing you would do if knew you wouldn't get hurt?
I would do Skydiving. I really want to do it someday, but first I have to stop being so afraid. I believe the feeling of flying would be awesome.
Approaching wild animals at their natural habitat! Maybe it's not so dangerous trying to get close to doe or something, but imagine lioness and her cubs. Gosh, I wish I can tickle the babies without having to fear about the mommies!
Downhill skiing looks pretty cool, but scary, so that's what I might do if I knew I wouldn't get hurt.
Margay
I'd like to go skydiving - but it's a bit scary. and I'd need someone to go with me.
Hmm, I would want to go skydiving or do some crazy stunts on a dirt bike without a helmet or protective clothes on if I knew I wouldn't get hurt. Or like... going over a really big waterfall in an inflatable dingy or juggling swords or flaming torches! (too crazy?) :]
I'd jump down the Swiss Alps..aaah!
I think it would be amazing to hike across the great state of Alaska. It's stunning but there's so much that could go wrong for me. While doing so, throw in climbing to the top of Mt. McKinley
Oh, I'd love to try ice climbing! So beautiful, but very dangerous if you're a novice climber, so I could only do it with the "wouldn't get hurt" guarantee!
Love the other posters' comments so far...going over a waterfall and hanging out with wild animals both sound amazing!
Go skydiving!
I would do bungee-jumping, I don't know if it's really dangerous but you must be brave to do that.
luli_.22(at)hotmail(dot)com
I would probably skydive if I knew I couldn't get hurt.
I would either skydive or bungee jump. I'd like to do both of those things, but falling from so high up scares me.
If I knew I wouldn't get hurt, then I'd probably go to open gyms and do all sorts of gymnastic stuff I haven't done in ages. =]
Probably jump off of a building.
Travis
spongyman1026@yahoo.com
I would probably do something stupid, like attempt parkour. Jumping roof to roof...
I'll set up a trampoline at the grounds, go at the top of the building, jump, and try if I'll be able to land on the trampoline. :)
I'd probably go sky diving that or if I had the proper funds or go on one of those plane rides where you get to the anti-gravity level. That's cool. I'd probably always get in my car in the middle of nowhere someone and go as fast as possible. Basically, I'd like to defy physics.
I would definitely sky dive. I plan on doing it anyway, but the guarantee of no pain is definitely a good push!

Great contests! :) Gotta love the Olympics. :)
I'd go skydiving. Friends have gone and loved it, but I'm too chicken!
I'd like to interact with wild animals. Tigers and such. If I knew I wouldn't be in danger it would be incredible to be able to do that.
Try lead rock climbing without a rope. I'd love go free climbing but whew, that's a long, rocky fall if things don't end up going too good.
Skydiving. Seems like it would be so cool. But I can totally see myself falling wrong if I actually did it.
get in one of those cages underwater with sharks all swimming around. it would be so cool to see sharks upclose with nothing but a few bars between you. that would be so cool...
I would want to do one of those cool acrobatic we always see in performance art, or climb mt. Fuji or mt. Everest.
I think I would want to do some sort of acrobatics... I'm kind of paranoid so I wouldn't even do simple stunts that have like a net to fall on without a 100% guarantee that I cannot in any way get hurt.
Any of the winter sports...Ski Jumps? Amazing!!!! or Snow Boarding? It looks like flying...My other dream would be driving without any speed limit, or traffic cops :)
I think of my self to be kind of frealess but something that i woudn't want to do is Surf don't get me wrong I would love to try it but i've seen what could happen if something goes wrong and that making my fear stopping me from surfing

Ooooh! I'd take one of those winter sledding tubes down a ski hill! Maybe even a black diamond! Weeeeeeee! Woot Woot!!!
mleger0546(at)rogers(dot)com
I would either go bungee jumping off the top of the Empire State Building or I would zip down a skeleton course on Mt Everest. Those are the craziest and coolest things I can think of but it would be AWESOME to do either!!!!!!
Race car driving! I love speed but I'm too much of a wimp to go too fast!
I'd go snowboarding and try some jumps like Shaun White!
Yikes! At my age...yeah, right...
I would love to interact with wild animals in some way - swim with sharks, hang out with a pack of wolves, something like that
skateboarding for sure...anytime i get on one i hurt myself. but if it was guaranteed i couldnt hurt myself, hey, what could go wrong?
I would go skydiving. It looks like it's fun!
This is the best question yet!
I'd go cliff diving. I'm talking massive height here, no a few feet.
Love, Hannah
P.s. If I don't win this (I really hope I do win one contest!)
I'm going out to buy this book myself. Looks great!
Oh I thought to something! I'd kayak down a super dangerous waterfall or something like that. Or, I'd run through a field of poisonous animals just for the fun of it!
Love, Hannah
ice skating... I know that doesn't sound very dangerous, but, for a major klutz like me, that is crazy and dangerous. haha
Grace L
I would go cliff jumping or sky diving. It's not the most dangerous thing, but it definitely still has a risk factor. I think it'd be AMAZING to go sky diving, but I just don't have the guts at this point.
I would go on a wild animal safari!! It'd be so cool to be within close range of these predators and not get hurt!
I'd love to dive somewhere and see all the fish and "plants" and other animals. I love to snorkel, but that is not nearly as fascinating as i expect real diving to be.
But in addition to me not getting hurt, I would like to also get the guarantee that the underwater environment is not damaged by my diving. I saw the destruction that can be caused by divers and i would hate to be the one causing it.
Cliff-jumping!! ;)
Snowboarding! Skydiving sounds fun and all but I'll probably wet my pants at that height xD
CAR RACING! Homg, I have been dreaming about it way too much!
Paragliding! I've always wanted to try it but I would def. get hurt or do something wrong!
Thanks for the chance to win all these awesome books!!! :)
Cliff diving. All the way. I bet it would be such a rush.
OOOH! Jumping off a cliff with a paraglider...definitely. Scares the bejeesus out of me, but looks SO cool!
cliff diving, snowboarding, climbing mountains....
!
I would do gymnastics.
Crazy? I don't do really crazy. Snowboarding half pipe.
I was just watching the downhill ski racers - I'd do that. I really would. To go that fast without fear would be amazing!
It's not connected with the Winter Olympics but iIve always wanted to parachute out of an airplane mainly because my Dad was a paratrooper.
It's considered pretty tame nowadays but it is one of those activities I knew was off-limits as too dangerous (for me) once I had children to be responsible for.
I would love to be a trapeze artist.
I would do the HUGE ski jump. The one where I am at top of the hill and then when the gate opens I fly down and go off this huge jump and go high in the sky!!!!! And then land perfectly and the crown goes W-I-L-D!!!!!!
beep-beep-beep the alarm goes off...time to get up!

Im more of the adventerous types. I would love to go sky diving, scuba diving, shark cage-ing, bungee jumping ect. even with knowing I can get hurt. So I'm going to go with driving a car 150 mph off of a cliff, into the ocean. I mean if that wouldn't give you an adrenaline rush, I don't know what will, and I'm all for the rush. (:
Cliff diving, ski jump, skydiving, or boardercross. Anything worth adrenaline too. :)
I would definitely be bungee jumping. For all the excitement I feel when others do it I would want to do it and see how it feels.. Also I would go para gliding LOL
Slide down a real long banister! Oh, how that always looks so fun! The big kid in me has always wanted to, but the wimp has worried about falling off and breaking my neck, lol.
I've always wanted to go sky diving. A co-worker even offered to take me but I never followed up...and now that I'm older, I don't think I have the stomach for it!
Skate down hill - I don't care if in inline-skates or a skateboard or even a bike - I tried once when I was younger, in a sidewalk that went down, in my inline skates but I really wasn't good at stopping so when I chickened out I grabbed onto the first thing I could find and ended up skinning the palm of my hand pretty bad.
Can't say I've skated much since.
I feel like this question needs to be answered in 2 ways.
First, the obvious, physical answer. If I knew that I couldn't get hurt and everything would go perfectly, I would sky dive, wind surf, go bungee jumping, or anything else that could simulate flying. And I would do it as many times as possible, as often as possible.
But on a deeper level, there are even more things I would do if I knew I couldn't get hurt. I know that I would be much more daring in my life -- I'd take more risks in my career and love life, and I'd make sure that every interaction I had somehow ended positively. But the one thing I would do if I knew I couldn't get hurt would be to throw myself headlong into relationships, both romantic and otherwise. Because if you don't hold back, and you can't get hurt, relationships can be nothing but positive.
I would travel far up in space then jump out of the space shuttle with no protective gear. I'm fascinated by astronomy so it would be so cool to just float around up there... you know, if it didn't kill me!
I'm completely terrified of heights but if I knew without a doubt I would land safely on the ground and say my parachute wouldn't break or something crazy happpen - I would go sky diving on a board!
If I knew I wouldn't get hurt, I'd probably do bungee jumping. I'm terrified of heights and I think it would really help me conquer that fear to do something like that.
I love scuba diving but am a real pansy - so if I was positive no-one would get hurt scuba with sharks would be a fantastic experience
If I didn't get hurt, at all? Can't get rid of years so easily... Oh! That's it! Man I'd love to (v. cliche-ly and 'noble-y' save someone from a burning building. See if I can stand intense heat without my eczema reacting to the ash and perspiration :)
Base jumping in a squirrel suit (like the ones they used in Tomb Raider... okay, bad example, but that's exactly what I'm talking about!). The video footage I've seen from people doing it is AMAZING... they can fly for miles and miles, skim cliff faces and such in those suits and it really feels like you're a bird, flying through the air... but I'm terrified that something would go wrong, so I'll never try it. But that's my dream stunt, if you will.
I'd ride a wild bengal tiger through the Costa Rican rainforest in a prom dress and 6 inch high heels
Now that's a question....wow, um...how about ice skating? Hey, what can I say, I can be a bit clumsy....if that's not quite crazy enough, my other option would be parachute jump from an airplane. Looks like crazy fun, but yeah...I'd probably end up a street pancake. =0P
grgenius(at)gmail(dot)com
I would love to pet a tiger if I was certain I wouldn't get hurt!
Scuba diving. Looking at fishes up close without the fear of getting hurt? Oh heck yeah. Sign me up for that anytime! :D
Hmm, invincible is great - I think I'd try parachuting or skydiving or something like that. It would be amazing to get the sensation of flying.
I think I would want to do something from a circus like walking a tight-rope or trapeze if I knew I couldn't get hurt. No amount of assurance that I'd be safe would ever get me to jump out of a plane.
I would go on the sling shot at the fair.
I would say skydiving...
Skydiving definitely. I am scared of heights and I think that would help me get over it.
I would head out to luge!
I would probably go skydiving or bungee jumping- either sound pretty scary with no guarantee of not getting hurt.
If I knew that I wouldn't get hurt I would try hang gliding. It has always looked like fun to me.
I've always wanted to go rock climbing(despite my fear or heights) or skydiving.
Go on American Idol (or some other singing/talent competition). I like singing and am good at it (so people tell me). Just not so much in front of large groups of people who are judging me (and I often feel that everyone is doing just that when I am singing).
