The ten events involved are: 100m dash, long jump, shot put, high jump, 400m dash, 110m hurdles, discus, pole vault, javelin, and 1500m run. Um, no thank you. That's pretty much my personal vision of hell right there. (Well, maybe if you throw in a volleyball match or two.)
Bet you're dying to know what today's fabulous bonus prize is, huh? Okay, it won't keep you in suspense. It's HELL WEEK by Rosemary Clement-Moore (the sequel to her fabulous debut, PROM DATES FROM HELL. Isn't that cover totally gorgeous?!?)

MAGGIE QUINN IS determined to make her mark as a journalist. The only problem? The Ranger Report does not take freshmen on staff. After all that hellishness, I think we need a little break. So, for today's contest entry, describe your perfect day. Here's how mine would go: First, I'd wake up early. (I'm a late sleeper, but I wouldn't want to miss a minute of my perfect day.) I'd have a soy chai latte and pain du chocolat (a chocolate-filled croissant) for breakfast. Then I would pull out my beach tote and head to the nearest body of water for a day of lounging, reading, sun, fun and swimming. When the sun starts to set I would head to a casual restaurant for a relaxed and tasty dinner. I might finish up with a late movie (the latest teen flick or an adventure story). Then, back home for a big bowl of ice cream (alas, no Ben & Jerry's White Russian resurrection yet) and to bed so I could start all over the next day.
Rules are rules. But when has that ever stopped Maggie?
After facing hellfire, infiltrating sorority rush should be easy. It’s no Woodward and Bernstein, but going undercover as the Phantom Pledge will allow her to write her exposé. Then she can make a stealth exit before initiation. But when she finds a group of girls who are after way more than “sisterhood,” all her instincts say there’s something rotten on Greek Row. And when Hell Week rolls around, there may be no turning back.
If there is such a thing as a sorority from hell, you can bet that Maggie Quinn will be the one to stumble into it.

My perfect day would be spent in nature with my perfect soul mate. All I would want is to walk around, laughing and playing...and just being free with someone I love.
Ah, the perfect day for me would be a cold winter day, so I could have my fireplace roaring. Many good books to read. A big pot of chili to eat. haha It's all about comfort for me.
The cold weather is just wishful thinking right now in this awful weather in Florida lol.
One perfect day? Oh my, my imagination runs. My perfect day (in the future where I am like 25 living in a beautiful condo downtown in the middle of everything) is to meet up with some good old friends for a lovely formal dine out. Before that, go shopping spree for some clothes and things that I love like manga.
It's one of those movie perfect ones...

If I could have a perfect day, it would be cold outside, and probably raining. I'd have a special someone to curl up with on the couch, We would just sit there and read and watch movies and listen to the rain hit the roof. Just generally cuddling with my sweetheart.
Mine would be a fall day with a huge thunder storm where I got to just curl up on a couch in my library and read in front of the fireplace with my boyfriend. Requirements: lots of blankets to snuggle under and lots of snacks. Oooh, and some White Hot Chocolate from my favorite coffee shop.
Good times.
my perfect day? it would be the day spent w/a boy i love. maybe chasing fireflies on a summer night.
My perfect day would be spent reading a good book while it's raining outside with no interruptions. While eating chocolate. Lots and lots of chocolate. Also, I would go swimming later on. And meet a very cute guy. =] There are way too many ways to spend a perfect day.

My perfect day would involve sleeping in to feel like I'd gotten extra hours of sleep, yet still being up bright and early--possibly earlier than my neighborhood. It would be just cool enough outside to merit hot tea for myself and my husband (who would wake up to its smell). The rest of the day would involve walking along the beach, receiving e-mail from an editor who has enjoyed my work, talking to my family on the telephone and hearing good news, and getting a check in the mail from one of my assignments. (It might also involve winning a contest, as I do enter rather a lot of them! That's always a nice perk.) The day would be warm enough for ice cream, but the evening would cool down again, possibly with a thunder storm, to make hot drinks once again the ideal. Then there might be an old favorite movie to watch or Wii to play before working out and then going to bed.
Somehow, miraculously, I'd also have gotten a thousand words or more of fiction written, so I could go to sleep content.
My perfect day would start with super hot coffee latte and french toast and then I'd move to a balcony that overlooked the blue sea in Cancun. Around 11, I'd move to the beach with a great book or two. Before the end of the day I'd have to fit in a message, pedicure and manicure.
My perfect day...
dead asleep all day, seriously...
If not, a day at Cedar Point which is this insane roller coaster park with Wafa and Raquel and all my friends... like the day we spent at the fair.
It'd be amazing.
;}
the perfect day for me would also be a cold winter day where it snows all over then at the end of the day falling asleep on a trampoline watching the stars(which would hopefully be visible and it wouldn't be uncomfortable at all to just be lying there in the cold haha) this of course would NEVER happen in houston, texas it snowed once here in the history of ever haha and it was only like an inch of snow so ... :( and also you can't really see the stars that great here not as well as this place in mexico that i go to it's AMAZING how incredible the stars look at night there it's just soo drop your mouth and drool for five minutes straight awesome : )

My perfect day would be spent in an amazing library reading with huge windows, victorian looking but with comfy furniture and tons of books. I would be curled up in a window seat with lap blanket and an engaging book. It would be raining outside though (love the sound of rain!)and my husband would be curled up next to me playing his Xbox 360.
My perfect day would be walking along the streets in Europe with my hubby and seeing all the lovely sights, eating at nice cafes with delicious food and just enjoying each other :) Bliss!
my perfect day is one where all i do is play field hockey and read a bunch of books!
My perfect day would be hanging out with my friends for the day. Than, I would go home to read a great book in one of the comfy chairs in my living room.
Get up at 10, eat breakfast at The Original Pancake House...then go home and read. All day. No TV, no hubby, just me and good, salacious romance book.
It'd be even better if all this occurred somewhere in Greece (but I realise they won't have a TOP there).
One perfect day...probably just to feel great, have nothing stressful happen and maybe play with my dogs--and family-- in the snow? (Possibly because blizzards are the opposite of darn tropical storms...sort of and my dog loved snow)
my perfect day would be one where i dont have to do anything i dont want to, so basically, i can eat, sleep, watch movies, and read to my heart's content :D
My perfect day will consist of no stuyding, homework, and stress. Just a quiet day with alone time...maybe a day at the spa...oh that sounds really good

My perfect day would be hanging out with my close friends and then spending the night with my family! :D
My perfect day would be spent with all my friends and loved ones who live far away.
hum...
a day with no worries and all my whims catered too!
with a massage!
My perfect day.. hmm...
I would want everyone to be happy, and I don't want anyone to fight and I don't want there to be any drama and I dont want anyone in the world to die. I just want everyone to be happy and spend it with eachother. I don't want people to worry about silly little things. Just be happy with who you are and what you're doing.
Okay a perfect day. Well I would want to wake up refreshed and not sleepy at all. Then I would like to take a two hour road trip, long enough to get a ton of reading in, to a awesome amusement park, or Disney world, something like that, and spend the entire day there, then I would take the two hour drive back reading again. I would go to sleep quickly so i wouldn't have to stay awake trying to sleep like usual. That would be an awesome fun-filled day.
My perfect day is hanging out with my family on our boat. We can spend hours tubing and skiing. It's the only time we all get along with each other.
Hmmm... perfect day. It would be a day where I didn't have to worry about anything and would be fun and in someplace far away. And with friends!
In my perfect day I'd sleep in (of course!) have s yummy brunch. Then I'd go see some (not lame) movie with some friends. Lol, and then I'd read a really awesome book for the rest of the day! Oh, and don't forget the icecream! And the chocolate! ;)
~Lucy D =)
Hang out with friends, relax and read!
A vacation with my family. It's been seven years since we went on a nice vacation. The last was a lousy bus trip.
My perfect day would be a day of complete peace where everyone I know and love is in complete health and happiness, leaving me free to happily waste away the day reading books and munching on extremely unhealthy goodies. ;)
Actually, I had a perfect day last month, when I went to Mexico. We went to Acapulco for the weekend. I originally thought it was going to be too hot to chill outside, but, thanks to the recent rain, it was perfect. We spent the whole day at the beach, sitting under a big beach umbrella, staring out in the ocean. We listened to the music (a good mixture of hip hop, reggaeton, and latin music). My sis and I got on a banana boat (supposed to be shaped like a banana, but I think it looks more like a hotdog in a bun) and rode around the ocean for about 10 minutes. We met some good looking men, chilled with each other...I had SO much fun. It was so peaceful - the sound of the ocean...I needed to relax and I did just that.
My perfect day would go like this:
1. Wake up at around 12.
2. Have no homework/housework to do.
3. Have it be rainy in the from 12-3pm when I would be reading a super amazing book.
4. When the rain stops at 3 I would take a nice bath
5. I would go out to a fancy dinner with my romantic interest.
6. I would come home to read some more.
7. I'd go to sleep and want my special day to occur once again tomorrow, and the day after, etc.
:)
if I could have one perfect day it would be to be able to just sit and relax somwhere beautiful like Venice Italy

Being on a cruise, sitting on the balcony in nice balmy weather with a good book and a cold drink.
My perfect day would be waking up late morning. Packing up my beach towel and a book. Grabbing a scampi plate lunch and taking it all to the beach for a day of releaxing in the sun listening (jumping in occationally)to the waves.
Hugs, Danette
